National Gratitude Month-EYG November 28

The EYG boys helped in the creation of this site. We had big plans when we decided that we were going to embrace our geekness, but that did not quite come to fruition. Of course, I have continued to work the site and I love it.

Fact is that they are the EYG boys and, though I do not see them as much as I would like to, they are my friends and I am grateful for their parts in my life.

EYG Hall of Famer and musical genius, “Weird Al” Yankovic does not look to fall into that category, but he absolutely does. His attention to details and streak of perfectionism creates some of the best music out there. There is a reason why other performers say that you know you have made it when Weird Al parodies one of your songs.

I love the reactors on YouTube. I spend a lot of time watching their reviews, reactions, riffs and all around fun content. From The Geek Buddies to pReview’d, the Reel Rejects to Settle the Score, the Schmoedown to John Campea, Dan Murrell to Jeremy Jahns… YouTube provides a great forum for me to see these entertaining and engaging personalities. It may not be perfect for the content producers, but I am grateful to have their skills at my fingertips.
