I have not seen much science fiction this year. That made this award very easy.

In this category, even though I could, i do not include any sort of superhero movie. I eliminate those from this category. They have their own award. I also decided that Alien: Romulus would not be in consideration for this because it is more of a monster movie than anything else. Same would go for Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire.

After that, there just was not much remaining.

Dune: Part II.

I liked this more than the first one, and the special effects are absolutely killing it. It is also one of the most sci-fi-ish movies of the year.
