Neptune’s Curiosity
By: Eliza Bob
Part 1
The stars were bright
and shine like a light
The darkness was deep
Neptune just a small blue ball
We slowed down the ship,
making a small dip
Dust flies around the ship
covering us in a blanket
Part 2
I hide behind a rock,
staying hidden as I stalk
I look at the thing
my curiosity as tight as a string
My antennas twitch
Making my breath hitch
I gawk at them as they walk
Hearing them talk
Into a radio
“We’ve officially made it to Neptune.”
