Space Exploration 

The ship is on its course to Mars

It is a long journey 

All the food is in jars

Our captain is on a gurney

I sit in the seat

Outside its cold

What we do is a feat

What we do is bold

We reach Mars in a few days time

I stand on the red ground

I feel in my prime

            Part two 

I saw a light

I look up

Looking out is a sight

I am the youngest called the pup

I hear a noise and check it out 

I see figure out in the dust

I go out to figure it out 

The ground the color of rust

The figure starts walking 

I freeze to hide 

  I am almost stalking

I hear the figure sigh

My people are small

We blend very well

The figure falls

I let out a small yell

I rush forward to help

When I get there i see they are up

The figure lets out a yelp

I help them and backup

The figure waves
