The technique of de-aging actors in films has started to really become a huge trait in movies these days. This CGI technique has been used more over the last few years and this year there has been some major uses of it. So it is time to start giving out the Kurt Russell EGO De-Aging Award, in honor of Kurt Russell’s amazing de-aging in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
The Kurt Russell EGO De-Aging Award will give out two awards, one for the Best De-Aging and one for Worst De-Aging of the Year.
2019 Best De-Aging
Runner’s Up: Joe Pesci (The Irishman), Samuel L. Jackson (Captain Marvel), John Slattery (Avengers: Endgame), Edward Furlong (Terminator: Dark Fate), Linda Hamilton (Terminator: Dark Fate)
2019 Winner: Robert DeNiro (The Irishman)

Worst De-Aging of the Year
Runners-Up: Clark Gregg (Captain Marvel), Michael Douglas (Avengers: Endgame)
2019 Worst: The kids from It Chapter Two

Soon, and let us hope real soon, actors wont be needed. Everything will be CGI and whatever comes next. For an old guy, Russell looks pretty good in the Christmas Chronicles. Goldie Hawn could have used some of that aging magic.
