I love the reactors on YouTube. I spend a lot of time watching their reviews, reactions, riffs and all around fun content. From The Geek Buddies to pReview’d, the Reel Rejects to Settle the Score, the Schmoedown to John Campea, Dan Murrell to Jeremy Jahns… YouTube provides a great forum for me to see these entertaining and engaging personalities. It may not be perfect for the content producers, but I am grateful to have their skills at my fingertips.

EYG Hall of Fame food, PIZZA!!!!
I love pizza. I could eat it constantly. But only with meat and cheese. None of that horrible stuff like pineapple or fungus or green things.
Canadian Bacon! Pepperoni! Some sausage. Ham! Bacon! Beef!
That’s what I want. YUM!

When he died, it hit me hard. I loved Robin Williams from when I was a kid watching Mork and Mindy. There was never anyone like him and never will be again.
The Movie Trivia Schmoedown is so much fun. It is a combination of movie trivia and showmanship like the WWE.
Created by Kristian Harloff and Mark Ellis, the Schmoedown has been around for 8 seasons, increasing every year.
Current champion is Marisol McKee.

Today is World Kindness Day.
Try and remember that… the world could use some more kindness in it.

Today was Disney + Day on the streaming service and I can not tell you how excited I get when there is a presentation from Marvel. It is as if I can’t think of anything else.

Thank you for your service.
Keeping us free for years, the veterans of great country deserve recognition every day, not just today on Veterans Day.

Wednesday is new comic book day and I go to get my pull list the same place that I went back when I started buying comics in the 5th grade. Sure, it has different owners and several locations since, but ComicWorld has survived in Dubuque since 1973. And I love spending time at the shop reading comics and talking with the awesome staff, affable owner Ben, comic aficionado Todd and super friendly Pat. Three great guys.

When LOST went off the air, it left a hole in my heart. It took several years to find a show that could fill that spot (eventually filled by a series of shows). LOST is one of the greatest ensemble cast shows ever on TV.

One of my, if not the, favorite movie of all time. Right up there with Avengers: Endgame. The Princess Bride has been a movie that I have watched when I needed to become happy. It works every time.
My favorite fictional character of all time is Peter Parker, Spider-Man. Not just super hero, but my favorite fictional character from any medium available, and it is not even close. I have loved him as long as I can remember. I learned what it meant to be a hero from Spider-Man. Not just a hero, but a decent person.

Yesterday was National Donut Day. What a great day.

It’s been a tough, stressful week at work, but all that matters now is that it is the WEEKEND!!!!
