“Danger.exe”

Polaris comes front and center as she was tossed out of X-Factor after a brutal encounter with Stryker. That led her to return to Xavier’s reformed school.

Polaris returned in a dangerous time, as the Danger Room began changing, becoming more inspired to make training all the more difficult.

That led to the creation of Danger. Danger was created by Joss Whedon and John Cassaday in the comics and she became big during a Grant Morrison run.

The episode concentrated on Polaris and her acceptance of Magneto as her father. Her connection with him, through Charles Xavier, helped end the threat of Danger in the ruins of Genosha. It was a powerful moment for the character of Polaris. Honestly, I am not as big of a fan of Polaris, but she worked well in this episode.

This episode had a bunch of more in the episode, specifically at the very end. X-Corp is brought into the series with the X-Men behind it, and we get Apocalypse’s Death created for his new Horsemen, and it is Gambit.

I do think that there are some hints of Onslaught dropped in this season. I am not sure if we are going to get Onslaught or not because I think this is one of Beau DeMayo plans before he was let go from the show.

We are two-thirds through the season with just three more to go. Clearly, Apocalypse is our big bad for the remainder of the season. Could Onslaught happen in season three?
