Time for an Adventure

 Time for an Adventure 

My name is clare anet , today I got an 

Opportunity to go to 

Sateran and I was on me way to the

 Rocketship 4 hours after I got the news. 

Now it’s time for an adventure

On Sateran. When we got to 

Sateran I jumped up and down. 

After I jumped down from the ship I seen 

An alien. When I saw the alien I screamed.

When I screamed the alien ran, when the alien ran I 

Could hear it yelling to the other aliens “omg there 

Are humans here RUNNNNNNNNN!” After I heard them 

Screamed and run I ran after them and said ”wait I won’t hurt 

I just want to get to know you.” Now we are our good friends

And are leaving for Earth in three days. When  I told the alien 

It jumped up and down non stop. When we got to Earth the alien 

Screamed “omg I’m on Earth this is so CRAZYYYY!” 

Now in Three weeks some crew members 

and I are going back to Sateren And the alien is 

going back. When we landed the alien started to cry

And begged us to let him stay in the U.S. with us. 

Now from the alien’s point of view. Part 2

Today was a normal alien day then all of the sudden 

We saw a weirdly shaped object in the distance. 

When we saw it we all screamed “RUNNNNNNN!!!” 

They landed and Bob went to see what it was. 

Bob said this is cool and they jumped out and we all ran. 

After that they chased us and we all stopped. After a few days 

They took Bob home with them and returned him back a month later.

Our Future

Our Future!

Part 1

Jupiter is where we were told boys get stupider

Little did we know it could be our future

I packed my bags, to prepare for the next day

What should I bring, maybe a game to play 

The journey would be scary, and long

So I will put my headphones in, and listen to a song 

While I board the rocket ship

My stomach does a flip

Precision is mandatory 

Or I will be the next News story

New discoveries weight for me 

This is  where peoples kids may celebrate turning three

This is where people will learn

This is where parents will help their kids grow a fern 

Code red 

Code red

Someone call Fred

Check the fuel

The rocket is out of control, like a baby mule 

The moon is out of site

I use all my might

Fred shouts I found the problem

Just in time about reached the bottom

We get back on track

Too late to turn back

One hour later 

I am no longer a hater

Jupiter is awesome 

As beautiful as a blossom

Our future is bright 

Now it’s time to sleep through the night.

Part 2

What is that noise

It looks like new toys 

Oh no

Oh wait 

Could this be the day 

Us aliens will not back down, we are here to stay 

Those humans are trying to take over our space

They did it on Earth, and gave us no grace

Jupiter is our home I refuse to go

That means no time to be slow

We will plan our attack for five o’clock sharp

No evidence can be left so we will use a tarp

I sound our trumpet to wake up the troops

Uh oh, I am getting the nervous alien poops

We prepare our weapons, and load our space car

Because after we attack the journey is far

We are almost there 

With time to spare 

They are still in that thing

Don’t they know it is morning 

Aliens unite 

We must give fright

We must give them fear

We must make them regret ever coming here 

We must make them pay

For getting in our way

Look here they come 

In armour so white

helmets to fight

And this thing that looks like it has lots of might

Aliens attack

Surround front and back

There is no escape

Make a tight shape

Slowly come closer

But keep a strong composer 

“Fred HELP!”

The human said as she grabbed a skelp

You took Earth from us 

And our leader Mr. Fuss

You must pay

And not live to see another day

This is our home 

No humans can roam

Fool me once

You must be a dunce

Forgive and forget

More like remember and revenge

“I am sorry for the past

But we need to know fast

Earth will be destroyed 

And people are starting to get paranoid

We have no place to stay 

Don’t leave us stray

Jupiter can be shared

Or are you to scared”

“We are very advance

Especially in dance 

 We challenge you to a dance battle 

So hope you know how to straddle”

Once the human was done speaking 

I began thinking

There is two of them, and tons of us 

This can be payback for Mr. Fuss

Ok, we agree under one condition

If we win Everyone from Earth has to cook in our kitchen 

The human looked confused

Then started to look amused

The human said, “So no matter what we get to stay here?”

Well is the water over there clear?

“Yes?”

The human said, with much less stress

Mr. Fuss would not want violence   

So turn the music up, I am tired of the silence

Let’s dance, and have fun 

So you can go back to Earth, and tell people that Jupiter has won

The Found Planet/The Unknown Human

Part 1

The Found Planet

I will go to a new place

that I will make my home base

But I have fear in my face

scared of what will happen in this place

If I am here

gone from my home sphere

But how will my family know

if I find my way home

I have to beat this space

so that I can find my way to a new place

I am done having fear

of what will happen here

So I will fly to Jupiter

the feeling still bitter

As I travel I know

that Jupiter will will be as cold as snow

Then I land on the planet that feels so hollow

I can’t help but take a swallow

Now I have made it here

to this place I no longer fear

Part 2

The Unknown Human

We are the aliens of this world

with our fists curled

We protect all of us

by making our enemies fuss

I see something come down from the sky

something that can fly

Then a human steps out

says our scout

We rush to the man

his spaceship is what we will scan

I can see that the man fears me

but I am just a sceple

So I help the man become our friend

and to the other humans, he will have more letters to send

As time passes, another person comes who is our man’s friend

our space feels invaded but there are now more people to tend

Our friend help us learn about humans and their mind

so now the aliens go on a learning grind

The man helps us find rare ores

so I help him find some tasty mushroom spores

The civilizations thrive now

but without the humans we would not know how

As me and the man grow old

we remember that without us this world would become cold

We lay to rest

On this planet of the best

Space Trip to Mars

Space Trip to Mars

Part one

Mars if not so far

Hop on a bus with Mr. Fuss

As we take off I start to cough

Never so scared

But the weather is nice up there

Stomach swirling

Hair is curling

I feel like i’m going to throw up

Ugh I need to grow up

We all scream AHHHH

As someone laughs HAH

Were so high up

Like bro whats up

Digging through my bag

About to gag

What’s that noise?

Oh it’s just kids playing with toys

As we zoom through the air

With our hair in the air

Looking at the stars 

While eating granola bars

Hands in the air

Like we just don’t care

We took a right

I’m in such fright

Looking through my pocket

Thinking I should lock it

Feeling the gravity

I have no cavities

Getting my gear 

As we start to steer

As I brush my hair 

I remember to check my air

I see Mars

Over all the stars

Landing on Mars

And sanding our cars

Part two

I’ve never really believed in aliens

Oh i just saw my friend Marion

Jumping on mars

Watching the stars

Getting my nails done

As the rails come undone

As I say hey to Marion

Something gets in our way

Weird and green

I need some cookies and cream

I lace my shoes

As I hear some moos

Freaking out

As my friend is tweaking out

I think I see a Alien

Next thing I know they are trying to take me

I say make me?

Were all yelling

Im telling my dad

My dad got taken

It wasn’t rad

Oh hey Brad!

Running for my life

 I see my ex wife

She ruined my life

An alien I see

I have to take a wee

I think I have diarrhea 

What is this criteria

Will I get out?

Will I freak out?

Invasion on Chestnut Ridge (2017)

Today, the penultimate day of the 2025 Genre-ary, I watched a documentary from the series Small Town Monsters. I have seen other episodes from Small Town Monsters before and they are usually a fairly well done look at these unexplained phenomenon. Invasion on Chestnut Ridge is yet another solid doc dealing with the paranormal.

Chestnut Ridge is an area of Pennsylvania where there have been numerous unexplained reports of everything from bigfoot to UFO sighting to giant birds with massive wingspans.

According to the doc, it seemed as if there were a rush of reports during 1973/74 with all kinds of weird things going on. The doc had witnesses giving their stories, including things like UFO sightings and bigfoot encounters, all of which are sufficiently unnerving. One wonders what these people actually saw. Many of them seemed to be reasonable and decent people (Admittedly, there was the one guy with a 2nd Amendment shirt on where the number two was a snake).

I have always been more willing to believe in many things. I do think there is (or was) something called a bigfoot. I am not opposed to people from outer space (though I am not sure if they are able to travel here), but above all else, I enjoy the stories. Small Town Monsters does an excellent job of presenting these “out there” accounts in a enjoyable way.

There was one funny moment. They were interviewing a witness who had seen a thunderhawk and they were blurring out the wording on his shirt. However, the man bent down to describe how the bird had been sitting, and the blur did not go with him. We saw that it was a Steelers shirt. I laughed out loud at that. I wonder why they couldn’t get the blur to follow him down. I know that was a minor thing in the doc, but I thought it was funny.

The doc also detailed the Kecksburg UFO crash in 1965. Something crashed in the woods near Kecksburg, Pennsylvania and witnesses went to see. It was a metallic object shaped like a walnut and that the military showed up and removed it. Of course, specifics are shaky and, like all UFO sightings, it is hard to determine what it was that these people saw.

Admittedly, the doc does not provide any concrete evidence of any of the stories they tell about, outside of the eye witness accounts from many year prior. I still found these stories intriguing and entertaining at least. Are any of them real? Who knows. It is one of those unsolved mysteries.
