It has been a long time since I have seen this movie, but I might go out on a line and say that this is the best version of Robin Hood ever to make the big screen. It was the first Disney animated film made after the death of Walt Disney.

Here is the first film from the EYG Hall of Fame studio, Studio Ghibli, from EYG HoF director Hayao Miyazaki. It is a story of a pilot in World War I who has been cursed by being turned into an anthropomorphic pig. Yup, a pig. It is surprisingly more deeper than you would think.

I can remember watching a matinee on Bambi in the Voy Theater when I was young and being sad when the hunter shot Bambi’s mother at the beginning of the film. It was one of those traumatic death scenes in an animated movie that required some explanation from parents.

Produced by EYG Hall of Famers Hanna-Barbera, Charlotte’s Web is a film I have not seen for literal decades, but it was one of my favorite films as a child so when I was compiling this list, there was no way I was leaving this movie off. I was a fan of Paul Lynde, who was one of the voices (Templeton the Rat) and his work drew me to the movie.

This is probably much higher on a lot of people’s lists. I just rewatched this last year before going to see the live-action version and I enjoyed it more than I remember from the first time I watched it. This is a great, creative new film.

Hulk Vs. featured the Incredible Hulk in two separate one on one battles. One is with Wolverine and the second is with Thor. It is a direct to video animated movie that is extremely awesome. Hulk vs. Wolverine is something that we all want to see, and I still think at some point, we will get it in the MCU. We have seen Hulk vs. Thor in live action, and it never fails.
