I did not know that Denzel Washington was going to be in this movie. He is always a welcome sight on the screen.
Paul Mescal and Pedro Pascal are also here. Pascal and his soon to be teammate in the Fantastic Four, Joseph Quinn, are both here too.
I know there has been a lot of controversy over the hip hop music used in the trailer, but I do not think it would have bothered me had I not already heard the complaints before I watched the trailer.
I never would have thought that Gladiator would have a sequel made of it, and yet here we are with evidence that it actually does exist.
It is scheduled to be released on November 22, 2024.

Great post. I am beyond excited to see “Gladiator 2”. I was a massive fan of the first film that‘a a medieval masterpiece and one of the best movies ever made. It set a high standard for the genre. It also launched the careers of two great movie stars: Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix. I’m curious to see how sequels would turn out but a little nervous. That first film was so great that I fear I’m only going to be disappointed by this sequel. It’s going to be a tough act to follow.
